Introduction.

Download Manager is a utility for downloading files from remote File Transfer Protocol (FTP) server on the Internet onto your computer. DManager is a download manager that helps you download files, programs, pictures, (streaming) audio, (streaming) video, etc. In addition It supports folders downloading. The program also comes with a handy tree view like file explorer that allows you to explore ftp sites and quickly find/download the files/folders that you are interested in.

Supported Features

Very fast download of multiple files and folders.

Downloading selected files from different location from the same ftp server.

Similar to Explorer style file manager, allows easy select drag and drop folders or selected files.

Getting Started.

How to select files?

1. Single select – just click on file.
2. Multi extended select - Holding “Ctrl” + click on chosen files one by one.(Pic1.)
3. Multi select – Clicking on file where selection should start from + Holding “Shift” + click on file where selection should end. (will select all files between selection).

Download

1. Type login info into “Connection info” section. Port should stay 21 unless your ftp server has different requirement.
2. Hit Connect button.
3. Navigate through Host site
4. Select files or/and folders on the tree. Drag and drop them into grid below.
5. Select download folder by pushing "---" button.
6. Push download selection button.

Activation

1. When you first start application and trying to connect to any host, application sets your activation date. Starting from this date you have 14 days to evaluate product.
2. When application is activating your evaluation copy, it will try send e-mail, using your mail client and you will probably see some message similar to next one “..application is trying to send an email on your behalf..”. Just let it go - it will help with your registration process.
3. During evaluation period you will have to register product or it will stop working after evaluation period come to the end.

Registration

1. Go to Help Menu
2.Click “About” menu, it will bring up “About Ftp Friend” dialog

3.If you have registration number, enter it into text box and push “Enter” if number
is correct it will end registration process, if not go to the next step.
4. On “About Ftp Friend” dialog, click “Pay Now” button.
It will bring popup e-mail address screen.
5.Type correct e-mail address, since on this address you will get registration code.

6. Click “OK” button. It will bring you to “PayPal” webpage.
7.If you don’t have PayPal account just push “Continue” link on the left side of screen and proceed with payment.

8. If you do have PayPal account just log in and proceed with payment
9. After payment will be confirmed by "PayPal" you will get registration number to your email address.
10. Enter your registration number on “About Ftp Download Manager” dialog screen into registered text box and push “Enter”.
